In her one-woman show Dandelion Chains, playwright and actor Shanna Shrum performs the roles of six characters whose lives intersect as two men struggle to maintain custody of their adopted daughter, Ella. It examines deeper issues of redefining “normal” and “family,” inherited familial and societal values, and domestic abuse. Dandelion Chains asks, what can we do to assure a better life for our children, no matter how painful it may be for ourselves? Can we achieve redemption from our pasts? Read the full review here!
