Technology and social media have shifted the way we interact with other people. There is no formal instruction manual. Interactions are public, reactionary and candid. Technology keeps people connected, but to what end?
“Self-Ease” is an ensemble generated theatrical performance. With text based scenes to movement sequences, original songs, soundscapes and some red-nose, “Self-Ease” explores variations on how technology has shaped the way people interact with each other and them selves.
Post performance interaction with audience informs future performances and sparks new conversations about making connections and forming a self-identity in the technological era.
